Data Scientist (3-7 years, Grade B1/B2/C1)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage Python, YOLO (You Only Look Once), and other machine learning
libraries to build and deploy computer vision models.
- Develop predictive models (Classification/Regression/Forecasting) using algorithms
like Neural Networks, XGBoost, RandomForrest, etc
- Utilize Databricks and Azure cloud services for large-scale data processing, model
training, and deployment.
- Apply computer vision techniques, including object detection and image
classification, to extract insights from visual data.
- Integrate and analyze data from various sources, including structured and
unstructured data, to uncover hidden patterns and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and
translate them into data science solutions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and
compelling manner, using data visualization and storytelling techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning,
and artificial intelligence, and explore opportunities to incorporate them into the
team's work.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, sharing your expertise and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of data science frameworks, tools, and processes to
enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience as a Data Scientist or a similar role.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Extensive experience with machine learning libraries, such as scikit-learn,
TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of computer vision techniques, including object detection
using YOLO.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure cloud services for data processing
and model deployment.
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical
concepts into business-friendly language.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the financial services, healthcare, or retail industries.
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
- Familiarity with MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) practices.
- Certification in Azure, Databricks, or other relevant data science technologies.
- Contributions to open-source data science projects or publications.
