Job Description |
Slack Admin As the Slack Admin you would be responsible for the administration of the Slack Enterprise grid. You will work with partners from across different organizations. You will be able to enforce existing Slack standards and review policies and procedures and monitor its success in the enterprise grid. You will spearhead technical design of the environment, as well as ongoing architecture changes and maintenance.
Slack Responsibilities: · Serve as a point of contact for the Slack Enterprise Grid as a technical resource · Support all users with app requests, channel management requests, Slack connect requests, guest account management, user group management, and user training. · Administration; Architecture; User provisioning; Settings and policies; Channel management; Application approval processes; Data security; Process design · Review existing standards and refine governance model, Slack enterprise grid, workspaces, external collaboration and partner channels · Build onto an organizational structure that will allow for maximum automation and scalability · Work with the Identity Management Team(s) for account lifecycle and security policy management · Balance user experience with security requirements · Should have sound knowledge on using/setting up of SSO in Slack integrated with indentity providers like OKTA, PingID etc. · Should have understanding of Slack Governance.
Skills:
· Ability to communicate effectively · Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment · 3-5 years of experience in Slack Administration and implementation · Hands on experience managing a large-scale slack implementation as an enterprise tool · An ability to thrive in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short- and long-term requirements · A passion for technology and an ability to identify new opportunities for efficiency and productiveness while solving problems · Ability to work effectively with team members, peers, and others in and outside the organization to accomplish goals and objectives, and to identify and resolve problems · Successful track record in working on multi-functional, cross-team projects · Horizontal knowledge of other Collab platforms for systems integration and automation support is a nice to have · Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies outside of the Collaboration tools realm for integration with Slack and help with employee productivity. · A constant stream of new things for you to learn. We're always expanding into new areas, bringing in open-source projects and contributing back, and exploring new technologies. · Bachelor’s degree preferred |
